How the Hose Quick Connector Set works
Screwing a hose onto a tap or a sprinkler wastes time and wears out threads. Quick connectors turn the job into a click: fit one half to the hose, the other half to the tap or tool, and push them together.
The set contains plastic bodies with brass inserts, in a mix of male and female and tap-end and hose-end parts. Brass threads resist wear and corrosion better than plastic, so the part that takes the strain lasts. A rubber washer in each fitting seals the joint.
Twelve spare washers are included in the pack, because washers are the part that wears first. A box of connectors lets you equip several hoses, a drip kit, a sprayer and a timer so everything on the farm or the allotment connects the same way.
