About our Power Tillers & Cultivators range

A power tiller is often the first machine a growing farm buys, and it should earn its keep from the first season. We focus on simple, robust units that start reliably and are easy to service in the field.

Buying notes

Choosing a power tiller or cultivator

A power tiller is often the first machine a small farm buys, and the right choice makes the work feel lighter for years. Think about the size of your plot, the hardness of your soil and who will be using the machine.

01

Engine type

Diesel engines are strong and economical for hard ground and long days. Electric tillers are quiet and easy for small beds, as long as mains power is nearby.

02

Working width and depth

A wider tiller covers more ground, but it is also heavier to handle. For beds and narrow rows a smaller width is more practical.

03

Attachments

Some tillers accept ploughs, ridgers, trailers and discs, so one engine can do several jobs. Check which attachments fit before you decide.

04

Comfort and safety

Look at the handle height, the controls and the guards. A machine that is comfortable to hold is one you will use properly.
