About this product
How the Stainless Submersible Water Pump works
Water collects where you do not want it: in a pit, a basement, a tank base or a flooded field corner. A submersible pump sits in the water, so there is no priming and no long suction hose; it simply pushes the water out through the discharge pipe.
The body is stainless steel, which resists corrosion and wears well when pumping water that carries silt and fine debris. A blue float switch on a short lead rises with the water level and turns the pump on and off automatically, protecting the motor from running dry.
A long black power cable gives reach, and a handle on top lets you lower and lift the pump without dragging it by the cable. It is used on farms, building sites, garages, gardens and homes for draining water after rain and for transferring water between tanks.
Before you buy the Stainless Submersible Water Pump
A float-switch pump is ideal for clearing tanks, cellars, ponds and flooded areas without anyone watching it. The stainless steel body resists corrosion. Check the solids size it can pass, and remember it is for dirty water, not drinking water.
