How the Solar Light, Temperature and CO2 Sensor works
What a thermostat on the wall reads is not what the plants feel. Conditions at crop height can differ by several degrees and by large differences in light, so a sensor placed among the plants gives a truer picture for decisions on ventilation, shading and feeding.
This sensor sits in a hexagonal box with a solar panel on top that keeps its battery topped up, so there are no cables or battery changes to remember. Vents let air reach the sensors inside, and an eyelet lets you hang it from a wire or a bar at any height you choose.
It measures light, air temperature and CO2, three of the main drivers of growth in a protected crop. Depending on the model, the data are sent to an app or a gateway, where trends and alerts help you act sooner. We confirm the communication method and the supported platform before you order.
