About this product
How the Measuring Tape works
Accurate work begins with accurate measuring. A good tape reads clearly, stays straight when extended, and hooks onto the end of a board so one person can measure alone. This one is built for everyday use on site and in the workshop.
The steel blade is curved across its width, which makes it stand out rigidly over a gap before it folds, and it carries clear markings in metric and imperial units. A hook at the end slides slightly to compensate for its own thickness when measuring inside or outside dimensions.
The yellow-and-black case is shock-resistant and easy to spot when you put it down, and a lock button holds the blade where you want it. A belt clip keeps it handy. We supply tapes in various lengths, singly or by the carton for hardware shops and contractors.
Before you buy the Measuring Tape
A reliable tape is the tool every site uses all day, so quality matters. Look for a clear, readable blade, a strong lock and a case that survives drops. Metric and imperial markings help when you work with mixed drawings.

Questions
Questions about the Measuring Tape
That is deliberate. It slides by the thickness of the hook so inside and outside measurements are both accurate.
