How the Zero Tillage Planter works
Zero tillage means planting without preparing the soil first. The planter drops the seed directly into the previously harvested field, which conserves soil moisture, cuts labour and fuel use, and limits erosion. That makes it a good fit for dry regions where every drop of moisture counts.
Precision seed metering and fertiliser application place everything accurately for even germination. The 9-row model is set up for wheat and the 11-row model is multi-purpose; row spacing is adjustable between 4 and 6 inches and sowing depth up to 6 inches. Hoppers hold 80 and 100 kg, and field capacity is about 5 and 6 acres an hour.
Zero-tillage works best if the previous crop's residue is spread evenly and the field is reasonably level. Pick the 9-row model for wheat or the 11-row model if you want to sow a wider range of crops. Row spacing can be set between 4 and 6 inches and depth up to 6 inches.
