About this product
How the Cotton Ridger works
The cotton ridger is a versatile inter-row ridger, most suitable for crops such as cotton. It works between the rows, drawing soil up into ridges around the plants.
It has nine tines, with provision to change both the working depth and the row spacing. No fertiliser attachment is fitted. Ask us for the working width and tractor power of the current model.
Work between the rows while the plants are still small, so the ridges support the stems without damaging roots. Set the working depth and row spacing before you start; there is no fertiliser attachment on this ridger, so if you need to feed the crop at the same time, ask us about other models.
Before you buy the Cotton Ridger
Ridging is an important step for cotton and other row crops, as it improves drainage and gives the plants a firm base. Set the depth and spacing carefully before you start, and make sure the nine tines are evenly worn. This ridger does not apply fertiliser, so plan that separately.
