About this product
How the Super Seeder works
The super seeder is built for sowing in a single pass in fields that still carry residue from the last crop. Rotating blades work the stubble into the soil while the machine sows and fertilises, so you move from harvest to the next crop with fewer operations.
It has a 2,000 mm working width with 54 blades of 7 mm thickness, 11 tines, a multi-speed gearbox with a gear side drive, and an aluminium fluted-roller mechanism for seed and fertiliser. A press roller is available. The machine is 2,530 mm long, 1,780 mm wide and 1,530 mm high, weighs about 1,025 kg and works with a tractor of 65 HP.
At around 1,025 kg and 2 m wide, the super seeder needs a 65 HP tractor with good lifting capacity. Set the seed and fertiliser rates on a short calibration run, and keep an eye on residue levels: very heavy stubble may need a pass of a chopper first so the blades can work cleanly.
Before you buy the Super Seeder
A super seeder is a smart answer when you have heavy stubble and a short window between harvest and sowing. It cuts through residue and places seed in one pass. Check the working width and tractor power listed, and arrange a trial pass if your residue levels are unusually high.

Questions
Questions about the Super Seeder
It sows directly into the stubble left after harvest, so you can plant the next crop without burning or removing the residue. That saves time, fuel and moisture.
