About this product
How the Laser Land Leveller works
The laser land leveller is a modern tool that levels agricultural land with high accuracy. It attaches to a tractor and uses laser technology to produce flat, even fields, which improves how water spreads across the surface.
A level field saves water, fuel and time, and helps crops grow more evenly and irrigation work better. Blade width is 6 or 7 ft with a 2 ft bucket height; the machine stands 8 ft high and 11.5–12.0 ft long, weighs 770–810 kg, has 250 mm of ground clearance and runs on 6.00–16 tyres.
Land levelling pays back in water saved and in more even crop growth, so it is worth doing before a new crop cycle. Choose the 6 ft or 7 ft blade by your tractor, set up the laser transmitter at the edge of the field, and work in slow, overlapping passes. The machine weighs 770–810 kg.
Before you buy the Laser Land Leveller
Laser levelling is one of the best investments for water-short farms, as an even field wastes less irrigation and gives a more uniform crop. Choose the blade width that suits your tractor, and learn the laser set-up on a small field before you work a large one.
